I can fit 3 kids in my backseat now - Hooray for the Harmony Booster Seat!

The Harmony Booster Seat it's narrow and inexpensive and awesome. I've finally found a way to carry 3 kids in the backseat of my car. You don't know how long I've been trying to solve this problem! Booster seats made by all the familiar name brands are roughly 16.5-17 inches wide. There is no way I can fit 3 of these "regular" booster seats in my Subaru. In the past, if I had both my kids with me, I wasn't able to bring along another kids. A few months back I did what I thought was a pretty thorough search on the web and in stores with a tape measure in hand. You can get all sorts of info on the web about booster seats, but I couldn't find anyone who talked about finding a narrow seat. I can't possibly be the only one out there who has this problem. Anyone who drives a Subaru Outback would have this probelm.

I was so excited to see the Harmony booster seat in Walmart last week, it's narrow, it is only $13.95 and it even comes in pink (and brown)! It even has an attache seat belt guide (the red thing seen up on the shoulder part of the seat belt in the pics). I bought two so I would have even more room. I'm thinking of buying a 3rd. We can now easily fit the two harmony boosters plus a regular booster or car seat in our car.

Bumpy name personalized labels for cups, water bottles

I love these labels, but then again, I am a label maker girl and I love labels of all sorts.  We got these when the girls were both using sippy cups so we could tell whose cup was whose.  We use them a lot on bottled water when we are on vacation. They are made by Inchbug   http://www.inchbug.com/ and they are constantly being advertised in parent magazines, that's how I found out about them.  You get to choose your wording for the label and there are several colors to choose from as well.  Our girls know from a distance which label is theirs becaue they each have their own color.  Even though their name is on the label, you can't read it from far away which is good if you are out in public and don't necessarily want others to know your kids' names.  They are made of a stretchy rubbery material so they fit on many different sizes of cups/bottles.  They are easy to take on and off and are dishwasher safe.

No-spill cups for big kids

We've had these cups for awhile now and I can honestly say they are no-spill.  The only time I had any trouble with them was when I didn't get the top screwed on correctly in the 1st place.  You can put them in a backpack, purse, or just throw them in the car and you don't have to worry.  At 1st glance, they look like a sippy cup, but they are targeted to 4-8 year olds.  In fact, when we first got them, my 3 year old could barely push the button to make her drink come out.  The cups are made by Contigo. We found them at Costco in a 4 pack for around $20 (I think).  I've seen them there recently.  They come in both boy and girl colors.

Towel "dresses" from Costco

I found these cute towel "dresses" at Costco last week for $6.99.  The brand is Pampered Princess.  I think they'd be perfect to wear over bathing suits on the way to swim lessons and immediately after lessons.  They have buttons on the straps so you can adjust the size.  They have a snap closure.  Several different colors/patterns.

Why this blog?

Recently, I've found some great products for my girls.  I decided to create this blog to share my finds.  I'll start to add in cool products I used when they were babies as they come to me.
